Your responsibilities

• Contribute to feasibility studies and site analyses in the field of deep geothermal energy
• Support geological investigations, research, and the assessment of geothermal potential
• Work with geographic information systems (GIS) and create map-based and data-driven materials
• Prepare technical results for presentations and reports
• Participate in the conceptual and permitting design of geothermal power plant projects
• Maintain and structure internal planning data as well as relevant information on regional planning, permitting, and planning law
  
  

What you bring

• You are an enrolled student (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in geotechnology, geosciences, geology, environmental engineering, or a comparable field
• You enjoy precise work and bring curiosity as well as a systematic way of thinking
• You like to work independently, but are also reliable, open, and collaborative in a team
• You have good German and English skills
• You have initial experience working with GIS tools (e.g. QGIS, ArcGIS)

Framework conditions

• You are enrolled at a German university or university of applied sciences for the duration of your employment
• The maximum working time is 80 hours per month under a working student contract
