BSFZ Seal – Recognition of innovation expertise

NULLCOZWEI GmbH has been awarded the BSFZ Seal by the Bescheinigungsstelle Forschungszulage (BSFZ)—an official recognition of entrepreneurial innovation strength and systematic research and development. This certification is granted only to companies whose R&D activities have been successfully reviewed and who therefore qualify for the research tax allowance.

The seal highlights our ability to address technological challenges in a structured and future-oriented manner and confirms our role as a driver of new solutions—particularly in the field of geothermal energy and energy-related innovations. At the same time, it strengthens the confidence of partners, customers, and investors in our strategic direction and our expertise in research and development.

Kick-off for the municipal heat transition

With the ceremonial signing of the contract to establish a joint project company on 24 October 2025, we—together with the City of Bad Bevensen—marked the next milestone in the use of deep geothermal energy.

The goal is to establish a climate-neutral heat supply for key infrastructure such as hospitals, schools, and the iodine brine thermal baths. As equal partners, we are shaping the entire process—from planning and permitting through to the realization of a geothermal-based heating network—grounded in expertise, transparent in approach, and in close coordination with the municipality.

The new project company combines the strengths of both sides: NULLCOZWEI contributes expertise in technology, financing, and implementation, while the city anchors the project politically and locally. A project-specific advisory board with participation from the city will accompany the next steps and ensure continuous dialogue.

Bad Bevensen thus becomes a pioneer of the heat transition in rural areas—and a reference project for innovative, municipally driven energy supply.
